We did it! Over 2000 toys requested, raised, wrapped and distributed in under two months.
On behalf of the organisers at That's A Wrap, I'd like to thank you for supporting our first ever project, centred around the provision of toys for underprivileged and socially isolated children in and around Hounslow.
I'm immensely proud to be a part of a community such as ours, that has proven so ready and willing to donate funds and precious time in the service of others, and in such a short space of time too. On 1 November, our project was just a pipe dream, so we came a long way in just over a month!
At our Toy Wrapping event, we saw 70 attendees pitching in to sort and giftwrap over 2,000 toy donations. In partnership with local schools and businesses, as well as through the generosity of local residents, we reached our toy target and have successfully distributed toys to our 9 chosen recipient charities.
Given the wonderful outpouring of support and enthusiasm for our Winter Toy Project, we're keen to continue our work. We'd like to organise similar projects in the coming year, but details are yet to be finalised. We hope you will continue to support us!
